For those who wish to earn a college degree and potential other benefits, Venture West Aviation is associated with Dodge City Community College.
Note: all training for the DCCC Flight Instructor Pilot Program, both ground and flight training, is conducted at Falcon Field Airport (FFZ) in Mesa, AZ.
The Dodge City Community College “Flight Instructor Pilot Program” is a two-year, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program, and is made possible by a contract between Dodge City Community College and Venture West Aviation. This program is very comprehensive and is intended for those seeking to become commercial airline pilots. The program includes the private, instrument, commercial, and instructor, instrument instructor courses, as well as college core courses.
Students who choose to participate in our college program may be eligible for federal assistance, student grants, and low-interest college loans. See our Financial Aid page for additional information. The Flight Instructor Pilot Program is open to all students including US Veterans, private pay, foreign, and corporate students.
Dodge City Community College hosts free information sessions for this program. If you would like to learn more about the program, we invite you to attend one of our information sessions. You may do so by submitting a reservation request below. After you have submitted the request, you will receive an email with additional information about the session.
