Talk to AdmissionsNo prior flight experience is needed. Our Airline Pilot Academy takes you from your very first flight all the way through CFII and Commercial Multi-Engine, giving you every certificate and rating you need for an airline career.
Our structured programs typically take 12 months to complete all certificates from Private Pilot through CFII and Commercial Multi-Engine. After that, most graduates build time as a CFI to reach the 1,500-hour ATP minimum, which takes an additional 18–24 months.
Veterans who enroll through our affiliated college’s VA-approved degree program may qualify for tuition coverage for flight training. Contact our admissions team for eligibility details and enrollment steps.
We offer several financing pathways: ELMSelect financing and VA education benefits are available through our college affiliation. Stratus Financial specializes in aviation training loans. We also offer a structured in-house custom payment plan with fixed monthly payments. Our admissions team will walk you through every option.
Mesa offers 350+ days of VFR flying weather per year, which means fewer cancellations, faster progress, and lower total training costs. Falcon Field Airport provides an ideal training environment with diverse airspace, proximity to Class B and C airspace, mountain terrain, and minimal weather delays.
Our fleet includes Piper Archers for all single-engine training, equipped with modern avionics including Garmin G3X Touch systems. For multi-engine training, you will fly the Piper Twin Comanche. Both aircraft are reliable, well-maintained, and provide excellent preparation for larger aircraft at the airlines.
