Private Pilot Certificate (PPL)

Commercial Pilot Certificate

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
Learn to teach others to fly. Becoming a CFI deepens your understanding of aerodynamics, regulations, and flight maneuvers while developing the communication and leadership skills airlines value. Many students build flight hours as instructors right here at Venture West.
Certified Flight Instructor — Instrument (CFII)
Expand your teaching credentials to include instrument instruction. As a CFII, you can train students for their instrument rating, giving you more teaching opportunities and accelerating your hour-building toward the airlines.
Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On
Train in multi-engine aircraft to complete your airline-ready certificate stack. Multi-engine experience is essential for airline hiring. You'll learn engine-out procedures, Vmc maneuvers, and multi-engine aerodynamics in our Piper Twin Comanche.
Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)
The capstone of the Pinnacle Pathway. Earn the MEI to teach multi-engine operations in our Piper Twin Comanche. Upon reaching 1,000 total flight hours and 100 hours of multi-engine time, the MEI unlocks your guaranteed interview with Pinnacle Aviation.

As a Pinnacle Pathway student and graduate, you gain access to quarterly events hosted by Pinnacle Aviation. These include facility visits, specialized training sessions, networking opportunities, and direct exposure to professional aviation operations — building connections and knowledge that give you a competitive edge.
No prior flight experience is required. Like the Airline Pilot Academy, the Pinnacle Pathway is designed for students starting from zero. The only difference is that you'll continue through the MEI certificate and unlock the exclusive Pinnacle Pathway guarantees.
The program takes approximately 13 to 15 months of full-time training. This includes the standard 12–14 month Airline Pilot Academy curriculum plus approximately 2 additional weeks for the MEI certificate.
You will train primarily in Piper Archers for single-engine training and in our Piper Twin Comanche for multi-engine and MEI training. All aircraft are well-maintained and equipped for both VFR and IFR operations.
