More than the right seat

What makes a great
flight instructor?

Good instruction turns a lesson into understanding. It starts with preparation, grows through patient explanation, and carries into the next flight.

Make the lesson count.

Arrive with a clear plan. Connect the ground briefing to the flight, and give each student a purpose for every exercise.

Find their way in.

Explain the why behind the procedure. Meet a student where they are, make room for questions, and keep sound judgment at the center.

Build the next step.

Give useful, specific feedback. Help students see what improved, what needs work, and how to prepare for the next lesson.
